They where transferred to Buna another concentration camp. The camp looked really abandoned and the kapos were nice, but the Gestapo officers where still cruel and cold bolded. Eli's father was marching in the wrong way and one of them betted him. The same Gestapo betted eli to be in the room with a Polish girl. Soon camed new years and the Gestapo made a list of the old and weak people of Buna, Eli's father was in there, but he was on the second selection so he survived.

In January, Eli's foot was hurt and he had to go to the hospital and got a surgery. Mean while the Russian army was getting really close and the germans had to go from Buna.

And The Next 20

Fire! Screamed a lady. Everyone in the wagon where complaining about her. When they where arriving to the concentration camp they saw why the lady was screaming. There was a chimney that had smoke, the chimney was of the crematory. Any jew that didn't obey the roles of the camp they will go inside there and be burned.

When they finally arrived to the camp they had to split, his mother and sister went one day and he and his father another. They were shaved. dressed and were obligated to work on really harsh conditions. They had to changer barracks, some had beds and " good food" in the other one they had no food and had to sleep in the mud.

Each day that passed in the camp the realized that they had to bed strong becuase if not they will go into the crematory, but at the same time weak because if they where to strong they will stay in the camp.

First Pages

In english class I am reading a book called Night by Elie Wiesel. This book talks about the holocaust, is a story of a young boy that survived this massacre. He was really young when he was in his house with his jewish family and they were send to a concentration camp. It is really amaziong how he tells the story since he was a little boy and how he showed the trust that he had on his religion. In the first 20 pages he starts to introducing himself and his family and Moshe the Beadle. Moshe the Beadle is a homeless man that lived in the same neighborhood, he helped Eli in his studies. Moshe was taken by the Germans and had escaped, he teaches all of the jews of the neighborhood that the Germans where bad people and that the concentration camps where really bad. Time passed and the Germans whent to take him and his family to a concentration camp. they where took in small wagon to become refugees of the war.
